Hello all and welcome another edition of the Clan Round-up.

Firstly, to clear the competition (<3), SuperNinjaSlayer will be doing weekly editions of the much loved Cynical Corner while this Report from the Sub Zero HQ will be used for clan updates and the such. Any important news about the clan, present or future, will be found right here.

With the start of recruitment we've already got members coming in from all round the world, a good start. We're looking to get bigger, and to that we need your help! So, help the clan grow and post the recruitment post (by SNS) on any gaming forum your apart of or even some your not apart of. Help will not go unnoticed.

With the release of the much anticipated Modern Warfare 2, we hope to get this place buzzing with conversation. Post your views on the game, favourite perks and killstreaks. I'm sure you guys are loving it as much as I am loving waiting for it. Woot!

Any guides, tips or tricks you write up can be posted in the guides category to other players. I will getting to work on some guides as soon as HQ images of guns, perks etc are realised.

On Sub Zero

Well for all three of the new members that signed up, I’m SuperNinjaSlayer (SNS) and this is my little slice of cynicism on the site. The Clan is starting to show “green shoots” to quote rather unpopular (at least in my eyes) ex- British Prime-Minister John Major. The clan is starting to come together and although only a small core at the moment, expect this number to increase, at least by a few anyway. If any of you new Padiwans, as Red Seven will very much like to call you, have any suggestions about the clan and how it can operate better, don’t be afraid to give us suggestions. Thanks.

11-10-09 (10-11-09 if you are British, and ?-?-? if you are me...)

So the release of Modern Warfare 2 has certainly been an impressive one to say the least. Many copies of the game were pre-ordered, in fact it was the most pre-ordered game of all time. I was one of those many pre-orders, but such is the world that my copy of the game is yet to arrive. Damn Royal Mail screwing me over, first my Oyster Card and now this? I’m sure those who have the game are very delighted with your purchase but don’t you worry, when I finally do get the game, I’ll hand you your arse (ass) on a platter, don’t you worry, whether it be via the game, or via my headset. Last week I stated that I’d be able to review Modern Warfare 2, alas no. Sorry about that. If it’s not here by next Wednesday I will actually go and kick my postman in the nuts.

Hello all to the first instalment of the Cynical Corner. This is essentially where I give you a heads up on the latest news related the clan in any way, give my impressions and then suggest you do too. Without further ado, lets get going...

Starting up Sub Zero:

The clan has started to find the keystones so to speak quite quickly assembling a tight core of players to make up the staff, not to mention my tremendous artwork gracing your eyes on these very here forums! We have Red Seven, the founder and leader, Matt and I the co-leaders and Quadadilo and tga1993 as Moderators. Hopefully this core will bring us great success in the near future, though I can't help but think that a tumble weed is gonna come rolling by any second now! This place is pretty barren at the moment though I'm sure this will change.

Modern Warfare 2:

The long anticipated wait for CoD4's sequel is almost over and MW2 is almost upon us. Lots has been revealed about the game already which I can't help but feel betrayed by the gaming community about that. The whole point of games is to discover them for yourself! People are ruining Modern Warfare 2 before it can even get a chance to ruin itself! How do we know we have another CoD4 on our hands and not instead another World at War? I guess its just scepticism on my behalf, but I'll let you be the judge of your own game, I won't impose my views on others.

What some of us left behind:

Remember CoD4Central guys? Well the Admin there Xplosiv is fixing everything slowly but surely and will hope to have the forums up by before Christmas if everything goes according to plan. For those that couldn't wait and had to make their own forum thinking they were better than C4C, their servers have packed up just like C4C's did and guess what? It doesn't look like its coming back any time soon, or this was the case a while ago, my sources tell me that ModernWarfareGlobal will be back up by Friday (6th November) but my gut feeling is saying otherwise, I reckon they might just be back up before launch (11th) but here's hoping to a not-so speedy recovery!

Well that about wraps up this instalment of the Cynical Corner. Next Week I'll be able to review Modern Warfare 2, see if problems have been amended and maybe get cynical on a whole different issue. In the mean time I thought these videos might lighten the mood a little. Peace
